Happy international Poetry day to all the poets.
I want to use this opportunity to celebrate the father of English Poetry; Geoffrey Chaucer who was
Born: 1340, London, United Kingdom and
Died: 25 October 1400, London, United Kingdom. for the love of poetry, I will celebrate you always sir.
poets are amazing beings that bless and inspired people with their amazing and rich poems through their imaginations.
so on This day, I decided to write tma poem which is titled “ WHERE WE ABODE ”
Read through:
WHERE WE ABODE
They crack jokes and tell us not to laugh
they beat us and tell us not to cry
and when we fail once, they don't allow us to try.
Like dogs
we keep on barking for our freedom
In our own kingdom
we lived in doom
everyday defined boredom.
We get used to their ways because is a natural occurrence,
we're judge by our physical appearance
so anytime we win, they said we're LUCKY
not knowing we Hustle on a LOW KEY
This place is a misery
you won't like to hear the story
not even talking about the history,
things are done down there best on family chemistry,
and if I'm to rate their relationship with God from 1-10 then I'm going to pick three.
The intention is to lived in a peaceful environment but we grew and see a community without a common unity.
HAPPY INTERNATIONAL POETRY DAY
FROM THE STREET.
